One of the most enjoyable aspects of front line work is building great relationships with students. I have found that some of the best relationships I have are with students not of the faith. Spending time with them, hearing what that believe about life and their own life experiences makes campus life dynamic and exciting.
One student I have been getting to know for over two years on the U of T campus has been exploring the Christian faith with me. We have recently started to study the Gospel of Mark together. It has been exciting for us both to come face to face with Christ and discuss the implications in our lives.
I have been reminded afresh of the power and the depth of the Scriptures!
